This project was about learning to work together in a team. No matter what industry you work in as a visualizer, being able to collaborate together is crucial. Recognizing the collective strengths of the team, sharing resources, and following a common structure are key to success. We were also challenged to explore both nearby and distant parts of the world in a sector where it is important to convey strong concepts. That's why we were each commissioned to create an image of different parts of a hotel in French Polynesia. The goal was to harmonize the materials, feel, and props between our images. My task was to create an image of the reception.

After some cultural research we created a moodboard - inspired by wood, thatched roof, lava stone floor and vegetation. We have also used the local pattern they call Tifaifai.
